Kate's Cardigan

I should be working on my taxes, but instead, I've spent the weekend knitting a sweater. I want it to be perfect, so I spend more time ripping than knitting. I guess that's the OCD in me. The sweater is called Kate's Cardigan and is designed by a Madisonian, Elizabeth Sable. I'm participating in the knit along for this sweater and it's great. Whenever I'm stuck I just post a question and help is on the way.

The sweater was on display at the Sow's Ear and I immediately fell in love with it. The pattern is in the current Knitcircus Magazine. I choose a medium tweed green Cascade yarn. Katie, from the SE, was so helpful. I'm fortunate to have this LYS blocks away from home.

Poor Eli (my giant golden retriever) gets so bored! I'm sure he thinks I should put the knitting down and take him for a walk.

I've started the sleeve, but pulled it out more times than I can count. The sleeve-shoulder seam just doesn't look perfect. I'll just keep plugging away!
